Main environmental issues for group: ·Weeds in particular Paterson’ s Curse, African Love Grass, Bridal Veil Creeper and Prairie Ground Cherry ·Banks of the Torgannah Lagoon are eroded – our cattle and livestock have unrestricted access to water frontage: they erode the banks and graze its vegetation, leaving the soil bare and exposed to summer storms. ·Rabbits are numerous to dig their burrows in the banks ·We organise summer fires on the edge of the lagoon, which is favourable to soil erosion especially during summer storms.
