Whitfield Primary wins Vic Landcare Education Award
The Whitfield Primary School has won the 2005 Victorian Westpac Landcare Education Award.
This award was won for the school’s extraordinary role in the restoration of Jessie’s Creek which runs past the school and through the Whitfield township.
“This is much deserved recognition of the tremendous work of the staff and students of the school,” said Thomas Moritz, President of the local King Basin Landcare Group. “We are all very excited by the award”
