Due to concern regarding lack of surface drainage, salinity and rising Watertables and scarcity of trees, a public meeting was held in 1987 and the North West Mooroopna Land Management Group was formed. The North West Mooroopna area consists manly of dairy farmers (about 70%) beef and orchards. We send out approximately 100 letters to landholders every two months.
